And that would mean bad publicity for the war effort. More and more soldiers are speaking out against the war, so the story that "soldiers support the president and believe in the mission" is no longer holding water. So far, they haven't speaking out against the so-called war but who knows what's the ante in a day, a month....and so on. But. we are still in a Democracy. The opinions of the citizens should be valued to the utmost and soldiers are citizens of this country. They are the ones who are most involved and the greatest risks and not these so -called leaders, whom I surmised , most of 'em anyway, haven't served in the arm forces. Our troops are aware that our leaders are not in agreement on what to do. They do care for their futures. Let the soldiers have a say in this 'civil war' . They can vote themselves out of it.
